It has been some time since Tony and Loki got married and moved to Asgard a few decades later. Even though he was the one who chose to become immortal, Tony was going through a dark period after the death of everyone he knew. Grief and sorrow led to an argument with his worried husband, worsened by miscommunication and insecurities.
