“You complain too much.” The candy clicks between his teeth as he speaks. “Do you want one?”
“Yes please.” Haru nods, watching Daisuke’s lips pout as he rummages through the brightly-colored gift basket.
“Which flavor? I believe there are strawberry, lychee, cherry, cotton candy, marshmallow.... unless you’d like some chocolate.”
Haru ponders for a moment, distracted by the way Daisuke absentmindedly fondles the candy in his mouth.
“Hmm....” A playful idea forms in his head. “I want this one.”
