Time and Time again, Subaru Natsuki has literally given blood, sweat, and tears in everything he does. He fought off the archbishop of sloth, played an important part in slaying the white whale, and was on the front lines of the battle for Prisetlla. All while hiding the invisible scars of Return by death. However, all his hard work is completely gone, as his existence was erased by gluttony. He was quickly labeled a sin arch-bishop by his allies and went through months of hellish torture. Seeing his pain, Satella gives her beloved the eternal rest he deserves. While his "friends" suffer from the guilt of what they have done.
 
This story mainly focuses on, what happens after Subaru dies a permadeath. I love the Subaru being forgotten and killed storylines but it always just seems that everyone gets another chance or Subaru gets revived or saved. This time NO! Screw that, gimmie some suffering. While Subaru chills in the afterlife with Satella everyone else suffers for once. No happy endings (except for Subaru in the afterlife) this time kids.
