Brock closed his mouth, squinted at The Asset, and considered. Announcing this act of defiance not only would get the Soldier punished (a debatable value at best), but it’d also imply that Brock didn’t have as much control over The Asset as people gave him credit for. That was true enough, but he didn’t see any reason to announce it to the rest of the world either.
Brock takes care of the people who have his life in their hands in the field. He takes better care of his gun and equipment. Person or weapon (he has his own opinions on this, not that he'd say so to Alexander Pierce), but he's not going to let the Asset spend all night sleeping on the floor.
