The Quest of a Healer’s Apprentice (джен)

Loki is a rather adept warrior out of necessity, but he prefers things other than slaughtering people and animals. Out of the occupations he has tried on thus far, being a healer is the least scoffed at by many of the people surrounding him, so he studies it dilligently instead of spending much time on the training grounds. He pursues his study all round the Nine and even outside of it, but there is one realm he has refused to touch thus far: Jötunheim.
Wherever and whomever he consults, nothing and nobody can answer one of the most persistent healing-related questions he has, however, namely why his father goes into a coma regularly. His father is not forthcoming about that, either. So, eaten by his curiosity, he at last steps foot on the forbidden realm, with “the Monarch of Ýmirheim”’s insurance that he shall not be intentionally harmed while there in his figurative and literal pocket, in hope that, there, he might get this question answered, if the jötnar can and will offer nothing else.
Well, he ends up not only studying about healing there.
