| As a growing girl on the cusp of adulthood, Heather Mason knew that getting part-time work was the way to self-sustainability at her age. And having found a niche as a babysitter, she often found herself in charge of all sorts of kids more often than not. While the kid proved to be more of a brat than the teenager expected, she nonetheless finds herself doing what she can to run down the clock, up to and including listening to Laura reminisce about her supposed "real" imaginary friend. However, the two soon find themselves interrupted by an intruder, one who sets their sights on Heather and transforms their surroundings into something straight out of a nightmare. Forced to flee, Heather does what she can to ensure the safety of Laura while keeping herself out of their pursuer's clutches. Along the way, she ends up realizing that the young girl's imaginary friend was more real than she initially realized. |

| What should've been a simple trip home from the mall turned into a series of never-ending nightmares for one Heather Mason, who was forced into contend with trekking through horrific environments, fighting off equally horrifying monsters, and trying to make rhyme or reason as to why all this was even happening to her. Despite it all, there was one goal that kept the seventeen-year-old going agains...>>t these odds, and it was returning home to the apartment she lived in alongside her father, Harry Mason. Upon her arrival, Heather hoped she could detail her journey. However, rather than any form of relief, the girl finds herself in for quite the shock. Firstly, her father is calling her by a name which isn't her own. Secondly, the creepy woman she met at the mall, Claudia, is seated at their dinner table. And lastly, her dad was referring to them as Heather's "old friend". Now, faced with a bizarre and threatening situation, the teenager tries to figure out just what is going on, as well as attempting to figure out Claudia's motives for being here. |

However, that isn't to say there aren't moments where her new twin "sister" drives the young Miss Mason up a wall. |
