| Harry Potter has been stuck in hell for precisely two days. In short, it was the summer after the Triwizard Tournament, when Harry’s life completely collapsed alongside Cedric. Voldemort was dead, his best friend at the time was dead, and nobody was answering his letters. His Uncle...>> Vernon had nearly throttled him as he got home, but his Aunt Petunia and cousin Dudley were strangely quiet about it. No giggles from Dudley. Strange. Snape meanwhile, had been busy at the Prince Manor. Making potions, dusting counters, the usual summer routine. But one day, Albus Dumbledore himself came to him, pleading for Snape to go to Privet Drive, number four. When Snape arrived (reluctantly), he was met with a sight that made all his resentment against James Potter disappear for a few hours. |
