SLOW build relationship with a lot of angst and comfort scenes (with plenty more to come). If there’s no cedar leaf under the welcome mat, the amazake babaa that lives two apartments over will be knocking on their door by evening. | Izuku has always been quirkless even with this quirk that was given too him and he knows that. Nothings ever changing that he was born quirkless. Cause he's quirkless he's different from normal people. His nails grow a little longer, sharper, then everybody, it's not a quirk plus his mom is so nice to clip them down. He could hurt someone with them if he's not careful. He has two scares runni...>>ng down his back and the fact he has no toes, people always points that out. it was an accident that happened when he was born and always had them. He would love for you never to bring that up again his mother thinks it's her fault he got hurt so young. Little quirkless Deku somehow got a quirk from All might then he'd live his life as the mans successor, basically jut a copy of the man but different colors. This changes with Izuku taking the hit of a stray quirk aimed at his sensei in the USJ. He doesn't know what's happening or why he got these wings on his back now. He just wants to crawl up in his bed ̶N̶e̶s̶t̶ ̶i̶t̶s̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶n̶e̶s̶t̶ and go to sleep. If we can’t find your parents, you can stay here, okay?” An orphanage. He is in an orphanage and, he looks down at his hands with a familiar hollow ache in his chest, and he is a child. He ...>>is dead, and he is in an orphanage, and he is a child. Kabuto laughs and laughs and laughs. ... Or, a deeply unstable Root graduate with no concept of selfhood and only the most tenuous grasp of what sanity might be supposed to look like in sterile lab conditions makes friends, does his best to figure out how independence is supposed to work, terrifies a lot of responsible adults (and less responsible "peers") who really just want to help, and fends off “I can fix him” attempts on all sides (reciprocating with an “I can make him worse” aoe aura). Depressing introspection and unfortunate perspective gaps are only to be expected. This is the best Kabuto's mental health has been ... ever, and the eighth panic attack Hizashi has had this week. |

| Izuku has a great life- loving mother, a caring boyfriend, and even a powerful Quirk. A quirk that is a little too powerful, basically spans beyond the laws of Quirks in general. A boyfriend that is keeping a secret. His mom may not be whom she claimed to be. Or Izuku Midoriya struggled with fitting in- ranging from his inability not to view boys as anything except perfect. When he ...>>wasn't drooling over his childhood bully, he owned powers that should not exist since he was diagnosed as quirkless- eviscerating his dreams of becoming a hero. Izuku gains his mythical power at the tender age of five, the day his father tried to murder him and his mother. Now 15, and preparing for the daunting entrance exams for Yueii Academy- the truth is revealed- Izuku is adopted. He is armed and determined to use his abilities to become the greatest hero and find answers to where his real family is and who is Artemis. Izuku will come to learn of the darkness in him and the existence of monsters who wish to use him for evil, and they are closer than he knows. OR OR.... Izuku is a god and is not having a great time. |
