Т.е. ситуация реально до сих пор такова, что пока Толкину достался статус Толстоевского от жанра, все остальные - жалкие эпигоны, которые если и пользовались популярностью, то исключительно потому, что миллионы мух не могут ошибаться. Джордану, разумеется, можно предъявить ещё многотомность - ну, когда 14 толстых томов читать лень, проще сделать вид, что ничего хорошего там вычитать и нельзя)
