When Harry left to hunt for the Horcruxes, it was the only safe heaven Sirius had left. He paced back and forth into the night, willed himself to drink no more than three per week and temper fuse shorter by the day when he hears nothing from his godson as time went by. Harry shouldn’t have tricked him like that, to go off. He would’ve gone to find him if it wasn’t for the single word that Harry left for him.
