Red Velvet

Draco Malfoy had always had a thing about texture. His home was full of expensive leathers and furs, silks and skins... and velvets.
When he sees Hermione Granger escorted into a Christmas Ball by Harry Potter in nothing else but red velvet and white fur, his interest is piqued, though there wasn’t much to do being that her Fiancé was none other than the glorified third wheel of the Golden Trio.
Time passed and he enjoys the once a year event where he gets to see her in Red Velvet, that is until Blaise “drags” Draco to a Muggle Christmas party and informs him of her “trouble in paradise.”
Granger is single, and Draco has patience.
