The Expert Gets His Turn

He was always the one to solve his friends' problems. “Kyungsoo do this” and “Kyungsoo help me with that.” He got pretty good at giving advice. “Does she like me?” they’d ask. “Yes,” he would reply. Or no. He could tell. He never got it wrong. Kyungsoo had never had his turn though. Not that he cared much for girls anyway, because if he were to find the right person, he knew that gender wouldn’t matter. He had always been a romantic at heart, and the thing that all his friends always pointed out about him was how caring he was.

At the new dorm, he roomed with Xiumin. It was easiest, since they already knew each other. None of the others really caught his eye anyway, and so his hopes of finding someone quickly were dashed right away.

Or so he thought.
