The last thing Daemon remembers is killing his nephew. When he wakes, he remembers every single detail of the life he had lived - and the events that led to his death in the Battle above the God's Eye.
He spends a lifetime wishing he could forget.
Somebody once said that "no man ever steps in the same river twice - because it's not the same river and he's not the same man." An exploration of what that means.
