Cesare and Lucrezia attend a college party and he gets into a fight to defend her. They end up alone in a bathroom to patch up his wounds, thus rekindling buried desire and fueling gossip.
“I thought you said this couldn’t happen anymore,” she says.
“I wasn’t in my right mind.”
He tries to kiss her again, but Lucrezia laughs.
“And you are now?” she asks.
There’s blood running from his forehead and his pupils are still blown wide by adrenaline.
“I only feel right when I’m with you.”
