Trying to Spell Both Our Names at Once (слэш)

Steve is back in New York, the Avengers team keeps growing, and his life is settling into a pattern of missions, training, and the regulatory work in between. On one outing he gets hit with a spell that erases his memories, but he gets them all back courtesy of their own magic experts. Still, it doesn’t mean there are no consequences.
He deals with having his head messed with over time, and thinks there’s something probably wrong with him, since it’s easier to get over with than Bucky having decided to have nothing to do with him once they had returned home.
He well knows he’s not the only person in the world to be left by someone who once promised forever. People divorce all the time and get over it, he should too. It’s just proving tricky, and Bucky seeming to be completely fine doesn’t help the matter.
