Padmé Amidala's world changes overnight when her husband, the former Anakin Skywalker, seizes control of the galaxy and crowns himself Emperor Vader. Isolated from her family and imprisoned in the Imperial Palace, Padmé is seemingly alone—until an old friend, Sabé, comes back into her life. As they work together to kindle the flames of rebellion, sparks fly in more ways than one, forcing Padmé to decide what is most important to her: the fate of the galaxy or that of the woman she loves.
