Around the spot in which the moonstone lays on her chest, something is growing beneath her flesh and begins to tear her skin open, like dozens of blades sewing her body from the inside out. The pain is excruciating(...) Cassandra's vision, already blurred by tears, now begins to darken, and she struggles to focus on herself so she can identify what is growing in her body.
