Airbender Ty Lee (Avatar), Canon Divergence, lots of canon divergence oops, particularly in episodes s3 e14/15 the boiling rock, and more canon divergence in the final agni kai, Mention of Killing, but its just like a mission statement, Ozai (Avatar) is an Asshole, Ozai (Avatar) Being a Terrible Parent, the boiling rock episodes, it took a lot more effort than you’d think, to try and weave this into canon, tysuki rights, as you can see i have no clue how to use tags

That night, Ty Lee did lots of meditating. It took her almost two entire hours to soothe out her aura, and even then it only reached a dark magenta. There were too many questions swirling through her head and not enough answers to silence them. It felt like a curse had been bestowed upon her. Airbending. She thought about the word. Picked and pulled it apart. It was bending. But it wasn’t firebending. No. She couldn’t use it like firebending, because it wasn’t firebending, it was airbending. Keyword: air. She could never practice with Azula. Not only would she be badly outmatched, Azula only practiced with other firebenders. Masters. Teachers. Ty Lee wouldn’t have a teacher. The words rang through her head: No one has seen one of you for a hundred years.
