One year after the Battle of Hogwarts, on a day usually reserved for happiness and the celebration of love, Harry Potter takes his own life.
He has lost too many people in his short life, but the death of the one person he thought would never leave him breaks him completely. Not one day has passed where nightmares don't plague his dreams, where he doesn't see her dead body in front of his eyes. With his last breath he hopes that there really is an after life.
When he opens his eyes, he's confronted with the concerned gaze of one Hermione Granger and finds himself transported back in time.
