| Newt’s found himself a new creature at the seashore. This creature is an extremely intelligent humanoid with a voice like a fallen angel, speaks a glorious, graceful language that Newt has never heard before, and suffers extensive scarring to the hands. He’s old, how old Newt isn’t sure, but despite the language barrier it’s clear that he’s deeply depressed and he has a disturbing tendency to believe himself a danger to all around him. Newt just thinks he’s the last of an endangered species who’s been on his own for far too long. |
