The story begins when genderswapped Harry (Laurette) is still a student, and it follows her along the timeline of the final books in the series. Then it cuts to five years later... Laurette is bored of the paperwork involved with working at the ministry. The opportunity arises to teach at Hogwarts, and she can't turn it down. A slow-burn relationship builds with Severus Snape that develops into ex...>>plicit smut. ^_^ A/N: I began writing this story when I was in middle school on FanFiction.net (back in probably 2004). During the lockdown, I got curious and re-read this work. I can't put into words how cringe it was... I studied inner partner violence in graduate school and wrote many papers on the factors that are more likely to lead to an unhealthy relationship. One of those factors is an age difference when the two people are in very different life stages and one individual has a much higher power dynamic. For example, a financially secure grown adult professor with an inexperienced teen that just graduated (which was the original premise of the story). I couldn't in good conscience keep a story up that was essentially grooming, so I've been re-writing it. This first chapter is short, but others will be much longer.
