The footage review uncovered everything — including what Bruce did to Tim on his sixteenth birthday. Ten days. A hologram of Alfred dying. Ten days of Tim convinced one of his siblings would destroy the world, investigating everyone he loved, and never once suspecting Bruce. Because Bruce was the floor. Because Tim always trusted Bruce more than anyone. Bruce forgot it happened. Two ye...>>ars of therapy, twice a week, and it didn't come up. Because Tim was fine. Tim is always fine. Tim picks up on the fifteenth buzz. He says the thing he's never said out loud. He hangs up. Bernard holds on. In the dark, Tim Drake — twenty-one years old, knowing he doesn't have to go back, knowing his siblings aren't contingent on Bruce anymore — tries to figure out whether he keeps going to Thursday dinners because he's right about Bruce or because he's still sixteen and can't stop going back. He doesn't figure it out tonight.

Red Hood's men are… a bit unusual. They're still clearly the henchmen of the new and upcoming Crime Lord who openly and aggressively hates Batman but for some reason… they're dead set on helping Robin. They're even fairly good at helping out. Though, when Robin gets hit with a modified version of Poison Ivy's pollen, their solution is to call his 'older brother' who apparently they think is Red Hood himself. (Not Batcest)

Tim figured that since he was banned from basically everything Robin due to the new menace known as Red Hood, that heading to Titan's Tower and indulging some old photography habits would at least keep him entertained. He certainly wasn't expecting someone to break into Titan's Tower. He most definitely wasn't expecting that someone to be Red Hood and maybe the most surprising of all... he was not expecting Red Hood to apparently know him. Well... to know the night time bird photography Alvin Draper anyway but all things considered, he was willing to roll with it.

The situation was easy to understand. Red Hood was Jason Tood, returned from the grave. Jason Todd couldn't come home because Joker was alive and Tim Drake was Robin so... if Tim Drake killed Joker then that would leave Robin open for Jason to come home and claim right? Now if only the Joker would actually die in all the death traps Tim had set up.

Dick should have cursed his brother. He lived with that regret every single time he felt the otherness stir, every time he remembered that his own relationship with death wasn't so cut and dry and it was unlikely him or anyone like him would stay down for long. When his brother wakes up anyway and claws his way out of the grave, Dick sets out to make sure that he can talk to his brother again, even if its only once, just to let him know exactly how far Dick would go to have his Little Wing back.

Spare Key (джен)1 28.03.2024

Really, it was supposed to be the perfect place to hide out for the night. With an Arkham breakout going on and him already nursing injuries it wasn't like he would be out and about anyway, and it wasn't like Dick ever used this particular safehouse so there was little chance Nightwing would run across the still unknown but dangerous Red Hood. Honestly, Jason was somewhat impressed he still had it...>>, and that the spare key was right where Dick had promised a young robin he didn't even like. He was less impressed to find out that he was wrong, and that Dick did still use this safehouse. He was even less impressed to find out that the safehouse was more to hide from his family and friends.

Batman is dead and Damian has taken his place. Damian, who spit on Tim when he was alive, when they were supposed to be brothers. Damian al Ghul who shares blood with Tim's former Master, his kidnapper, his torturer. Damian, who doesn't deserve to stand in their father's shoes. Damian, who treats the new Robin like the little brother Tim always wanted to be to him. Back then. Before. And Tim ...>>has some things to say about all that. -- -- "Damian?" Tim chokes out. And it is. Damian is crouching in front of him. Older, bigger, wearing Bruce's suit, but his face is bare and his brow is knit in concern. But he has his grandfather's eyes and all Tim can see is Ra's between blinks.

Olivia Draper had been a good idea at first. She could pass for older than Tim could pull off while masculine and women really could get into places easier if they had a pretty face. With makeup and some stylish-yet-inexpensive clothes, Olivia could pull off most undercover ops. She was Tim’s Matches Malone. Then Hood had shown up on the scene. ----------------------------------- When J...>>ason met Olivia, he hadn't intended to pull a Bruce and take the scrappy teen informant under his wing. She just kept showing up where he was doing business. He had no other choice than to keep an eye on her. And kit her out with armor so she wouldn't accidentally get shot. And make sure she was being treated fairly by her mysterious boss. And, okay, maybe become her big brother. ----------------------------------- AKA I write an enemies-to-caretakers story where neither party knows the other's identity until they're already invested.

A Recipe for Disaster (джен)1 22.05.2022

“You’re crying.” That’s the Red Hood, standing in the doorway into the hall, a hulking figure filling the frame, head tilted in question and hands on a gun that’s pointed to the floor. He looks uncertain, head tilted to the side like a goddamn bird. “What?” Tim asks, because Tim is confused– he knows this is Jason Todd, kinda hard to miss with the red helmet and when the dude tried to bl...>>ow up Dick and Bruce about a week earlier in the same outfit, but what the actual fuck is he doing in San Francisco– “You’re crying.” Red Hood repeats, forgoing a one handed grip on his weapon to gesture to his– well– his everything. Tim moves his hand up to his cheeks because he is definitely not crying over something as stupid as his dinn– Huh. Okay. Maybe he is. ✦✦✦ Tim and Jason make food, drink and talk about parents. Jason was meant to kill this kid, but plans have a way of being derailed.
