Hush Money

Kyungsoo walked through the empty hallways, the sound of his school shoes hitting the floor flooding the empty spaces. He was on his way to the library while the rest of his friends were in the cafeteria enjoying their lunches. What a hassle, he thought. He had been called out by a second year student of whom he’d never heard of and thus probably never seen although the name hinted at it being a boy. The library was generally very quiet during this period due to the grades lack of interest in studies and literature. Maybe it’s a confession, he mused, earning a chuckle from himself. He walked through the doors and recalled what he was told that morning.

“They’ll be waiting for you in the back of the library, in the history section.”
