“There’s a patient waiting for you in room 202,” Dr. An said, passing Tao in the hallway. “He dislocated his shoulder, and his file is on the desk in the room.”

“Thanks,” Tao replied. He knocked on the door twice before opening it. “Hello, I’m Dr. Hu—”

“Tao,” the patient said with an urgent tone of voice, turning to face Tao. Tao gasped, stepping backwards.
