A Simple Gesture

Severus tucked his hair behind his ear.

Harry's breath caught in his throat when he glanced up and caught that little gesture. His eyes drank in the sight of Severus' slender fingers tangling briefly in one inky-black lock, a naughty skein of hair that had strayed across his cheek and threatened to obscure his view of the book. Long fingers caught it, shifted it, tucked it securely away in a smooth, effortlessly graceful move.
