It’s early morning and your party is making their way through Wyrm’s Crossing, hoping to reach the city proper soon. Halsin and Shadowheart are walking a bit ahead of the two of you, and you’re happy for the bit of privacy in this brief moment.
“Oh gosh, did I forget to mention my wife and children?” You tease, but when you turn to look at Astarion you catch the soft and almost nervous expression on his face. You quickly add in a more serious tone: “No Astarion, I don't have someone waiting for me.”
“Well that's good, I'm not too keen on senseless murder these days,” he quips, but you can see through him to the slight relief underneath it all.
