For the most part, Jon’s got used to the persistent aches and pains and fatigue that come with having your muscles and nerves eaten clean through by burrowing worms. It’s better than it was; he’s dealing with it. But every time he thinks he’s getting back to something like normal, there’s a day like today, where a bundle of spasming neurons has to remind him that “normal” probably isn’t on the cards.
