Where Roy Mustang served in the Ishvalan Civil War prior to Order 3066 and on medical leave meets one ailing Trisha Elric, single mother of two boys. Thinking to do her a service, Roy offers her his hand in marriage believing himself very likely to die on his next deployment, thinking she could receive his death benefit.
Roy survives.
Trisha does not.
