Susan Ivanova is already living a double life: EA officer by day, rogue telepath smuggler by night. However, her life doesn't really become complicated until she finds out that everything she's tried so hard to hide is already known. On the run for her life, she is being recruited by an organization made up of people who she recognizes, but doesn't understand. The entire universe is changing around her; but she figures as long as she thinks quickly enough and trusts no one, she might be able to keep up.
