The last thing that Shepard sees is the fire. She didn’t even expect to get that far, truthfully. Sitting there with Anderson, right after she…...right after she shot him…..looking out of the Citadel….Shepard had thought that would be the end. Not the perfect ending, because there’s so much more that she wants to do, but if she had to die there, on the Citadel, that would have been when Shepard would have preferred to do it.
