Something happens after Avengers: Infinity War that put Tony into a coma. Steve's devastated and spends time at his bedside when he can. They had just started to make things work between them. But it seems he's not the only one looking out for Tony? Meanwhile Tony has lost everything - and the only thing left for him is to make it right for others.

For 616 Tony this is set somewhere in an alternate Hickmanvengers gone right and then even more wrong too soon setting. Okay, so I didn't plan on doing RBB this year until I saw the art post go up and there were so many amazing pieces again this year. I'm glad I got to work with Apivotal's art, because it's just amazing and the questions I had about the beautiful sad scene immediately made me want to write something for it. Please just look at the hospital scene are and the light and the face and composition and let her know how amazing it is!! She always does lovely art and she's just an all around pleasant and kind person and working with her was as always a great pleasure! So here is the multiverse story that was launched by seeing her two Tonys. \o/ Thank you so much for the super inspiring art and talks and encouragement and beta notes. This was an extremely fun RBB experience despite it being a couple of very busy months for me.
