Brothers by Dragons

Eragon and Murtagh have grown up together with their uncle Garrow and cousin Roran since childhood. One night, they discover two stones- one blue, one red. When out from the stones hatch two dragons, the two brothers are pulled into the dangerous life of rogue Dragon Riders as they are hunted by the evil King Galbatorix and his terrifying servants. Taken in by storyteller Brom, they travel for the Varden- the resistance force fighting the empire.
Eragon is barely 16, unprepared for the challenges ahead of them, and always getting into trouble. His dragon, Saphira, has her work cut out for her keeping him alive. But as their journey goes on, he finds his dreams plagued by a beautiful woman in terrible pain- a pain he must soon face himself.
Murtagh is only just a man, worried that his younger brother is not ready for a life of war, and unsuspecting of his own origins. He and his dragon Thorn have plenty of things to keep an eye out for as their situation worsens. Though Murtagh thinks he understands the world, one of Galbatorix's hunters could shake everything he thought he knew.
With the Varden just clinging on and their own lives dangling by a thread, the brothers are in for the fight of their lives.
