The Final Battle happened at the end of Harry's fourth year, not knowing what to do after, he decide to go by a book he read and join the Marauders on their fifth year.
He arrive to the year of 1974 on the first day of school, just in time for the fifth year.
He is sorted into Gryffindor and sets himself a goal: to get to know his parents.
The Marauders welcome him warmly, but after seeing Snape's memories, his instinct was to protect the bony boy from his bullies, without thinking how it will affect his friendship with the Marauders.
