Stress levels are related to the maturation of the prefrontal cortex, amygdala and hippocampus. These brain regions play an important role in your ability to handle emotional traumatic situations, such as abuse, starvation etc.- Keigo is almost six and Touya almost eight, but they behave somewhat more mature to cope with everything.
