This is the story of how he got there, and of the events that transpire on that first, fatal day after the world is changed forever.
A "Zuko never met the Gaang" AU where Zuko's quest for the avatar went sideways a year before Aang emerged from the ice, and Zuko underwent all his character development while living as an earth kingdom vigilante and being held in various prisons.
