Shirou was dying. It was a sad truth, but an immutable one. At least it was until Avalon intervened and gave him a chance to continue chasing his fate. Of course, Shirou accepted. Now he's saving people, but not quite in the way that he expected: by exterminating the creatures of Grimm from Remnant. It will take more than a few miracles to change his fate this time around.
