| People don't like it when people are different than them. They hate them, beat them, swear at them, do anything they can to make sure that the offending party knows that they are unwanted. Midoriya Izuku was no exception. 80% of the world's population is made up of people with superpowers known as "quirks." Midoriya Izuku was born without a quirk and learned the harsh truth about the world too soon. Abandoned by his father, abused by his mother, bullied by his peers, and given a helpful piece of information from one of them, Izuku makes a decision on what he wants to do with his life. That is, he doesn't want it anymore. Hopeless, dreamless, pained, sad, depressed Izuku thought it would all be over quickly. He'd done it. He killed himself. So how was he, the useless being who deserved nothing more than the grave his body rests in, given the second chance at life that everyone dreams of? And is that second chance all it is cracked up to be? Maybe he really was better dead than alive. |

Midnight promptly broke it with an astonished “Holy shit,” as one of the stronger applicants lifted Midoriya off of the torn up street, per Chiyo’s request. “Teachers of UA,” Nedzu addressed, feeling quite giddy. “Meet Midoriya Izuku, our top scorer in both the practical and written exams.” Nedzu rolled the video back to Izuku standing in the dust, the girl leaning heavily against him as he stared at the Zero-pointer with determination instead of fear. |

| Aizawa Shouta has two current headaches in his life: 1. The case he and Tsukauchi are working on. It’s both ridiculous and a complete dead end. Like seriously? Do you really expect him to believe that a nine-tailed fox came into a game shop, ransacked the building, and then decided to recite bad poetry to the cashier? Come on, Shouta’s not an idiot. 2. His new neighbors are very concerni...>>ng. Concerning in that Kakashi is definitely not related to Shikamaru, and therefore Shouta’s 90% sure that Kakashi kidnapped said child. The only other explanation is that the exhausted six-year-old willingly chose to live with Kakashi, and that just makes no sense. In Shouta’s humble opinion, no one would choose to live with someone who thinks that porn is the pinnacle of literature. If only both of his headaches could be solved with some ibuprofen. Unfortunately, that’s not an option. |

Sometimes the vigilante was described as having three or four red eyes, and on one memorable occasion, the victim described him as being “completely covered in them, like some kind of demon or a biblically accurate angel.” That same victim later admitted that he was “drugged to high heaven,” and even later stated...>> “the dude probably didn’t even exist,” and was likely a hallucination. | Denki may be the worst magic-user that ever lived. He's a Mage, a magic-user with a huge mass of magic running through his veins. Trouble is, he can barely control it. At age 18, he moved away to attend a Magical Academy, away from his family and friends who aren’t allowed to know about his magic. But he still hasn’t achieved certification to prove he’s able to control his magic. At 23 years old, ...>>Denki is now on an adult course that he’s failed twice already. Lonely and isolated, Denki feels worthless. He craves attention from people who won’t laugh at him and may understand his struggles, so he turns to something drastic and illegal: a demon summoning. Demon Hitoshi is summoned from his demonic world to a human’s apartment. Used to performing great acts of mischief and wrongdoing, he’s surprised when given such a simple and innocent request: a hug. Unable to say no to the human who’s clearly hurting, he obliges Denki. He's regularly summoned to Denki’s apartment to perform domestic acts, such as cuddle sessions and eating dinner together, making Hitoshi question his existence to 'serve humans'.
