Bottom line: Elayne would be one of the few senators who actually understands that the Republic is dying of weakness and indecision — and she would act more like a wartime queen forging a new (stronger, more centralized) state than like most of the bickering, paralyzed politicians we see in the prequels. She might delay the Empire's birth by years through sheer political competence… or, if she miscalculates Palpatine's depth of planning, become one of the very few people he would consider a genuinely dangerous rival worth assassinating early.

Discovery that Palpatine is the Sith Lord
→ She would have suspected it decades earlier than anyone else and would already have multiple independent lines of evidence.

→ She identifies him as a massive fulcrum very early.
→ She would simultaneously: protect him, limit Palpatine's access to him, and prepare plans to neutralize him if he falls.

→ She almost certainly survives the initial purge because she was never near any clone unit and was never trusted / liked by the Council enough to be invited to important meetings.
→ She becomes one of the hardest-to-find surviving Force users because she planned for exactly this scenario for years.

In short: Moiraine in Star Wars would be the single most dangerous surviving Jedi-aligned player in the first 10–15 years of the Empire — not because she is the strongest in raw Force power, but because she is the only one who planned like a paranoid chessmaster for decades while everyone else was still playing by Jedi Temple rules.She would be the nightmare scenario that keeps Palpatine awake: a surviving, mobile, extremely well-informed, politically savvy, stable Jedi who never trusted the system and who has been running her own long con against the Sith since before most clone troopers were even decanted.
