An alternate end to the 2009 movie. Spock never shows up for the post of science officer and instead, resigns from Starfleet to pursue a scientific mission for New Vulcan. Kirk doesn't see him agan until a year later, as an attraction in an Orion brothel. A story about endurance, salvation, and love in unlikely places.
