No Such Person

Sherlock takes the case of a missing man, an army doctor whose sister believes there is something sinister about his disappearance. It's actually a bit more complicated than that.

His case haunts me. I picture his smiling face in the photos, open and ingenuous, and wonder where he is now. The options are not happy: held against his will somewhere, in hiding, or dead. The notion that I might find him has possessed me; I am loathe to give up my search.
