Her fingertips idly traced the faint scars of his chest, from his collarbone down to his navel and the smallers ones that ran across his shoulders -- partially hidden by all the constellation tattoos that corresponded to each of their children. She felt him take her free hand to his, feeling calloused fingers caressing her soft skin, as he brought it to his lips to kiss it tenderly.

They’ve gone through so many things together in their almost twenty years of marriage! Surely she could just tell him what was on her mind!

“Well -- I couldn’t take my eyes off you today, during Antares’ birthday party --”

“I noticed,” his chest vibrated as he let out a husky laugh.

“-- And I realized that I love you and I love our children and I love the life we’ve built together --”

“So do I, Hermione. I couldn’t be happier with our perfect family,” he kissed her hand again and it finally gave Hermione enough courage to continue with a firm tone, looking him in the eyes.

“I want another baby.”
