“Ben, how is it that I see you at least twice a week, and I don’t know anything about you? We never talk.” She pops another pretzel into her mouth, regarding him.

“Well,” he counters, “You’ve never offered me a snack before.”

“You’ve never visited me during snack time,” she shoots back and whoa–he is definitely not imagining the way her eyes are sparkling at him right now.
