| When Tony decides to personally answer tech support queries to find ways to improve the next Stark Phone, the last thing he expects is to grow weirdly attached to one of the callers. The man is clearly not accustomed to modern technology, but his determination to get better is both admirable and adorable, and Tony can't help prolonging their conversations. Talking to James — be it over texts or the phone — soon becomes the highlight of Tony's day and he might just be falling in love, though he tries his best to deny it. He knows nothing can happen — not while James thinks Tony is just some random tech guy at Stark Industries rather than the man who owns the entire company. And, as if that wasn't enough, there's also Iron Man and the Avengers to consider. Tony would have to reveal everything before a relationship with James would be possible, but he's not sure how to do that without also risk scaring him away. It therefore comes as quite a surprise when Tony finds out that James has been keeping similar secrets of his own. |
