Against his will, Loki's whole body tensed up at the question and even though Thor could be the most oblivious person he knew at times, he could tell his brother noticed. | Okay, Valkyrie had to admit, she may have been at fault for what happened. She really, honestly did not mean for anything like this to happen, no matter how often or obvious she made it known that she wasn't the biggest fan of Thor's little brother. She didn't hate him but also wouldn't mind stabbing him a little when he pushed her enough. Which was a lot as it seemed his personal meaning in...>> life was to irritate the absolute shit out of her. She had sort of given up being nice to Loki, or at the very least, trying to be friendly or personable with him. He didn't want to accept her attempts? Fine. He wished to continue to either ignore her or insult her? Great. He wanted to trust no one but his brother and be alone? No skin off her back. She was doing great having Thor, Bruce and Hulk as companions and didn't need another. She didn't need to waste time worrying or caring about someone who made it clear multiple times they wanted nothing to do with her. All of that being said, Valkyrie felt, very begrudgingly, bad for the bastard right now as she watched him sneeze his brains out and try to see out of eyes that were almost completely swollen shut. |

He covered his face to muffle it and the sound turned to a choked off sob at the end. Thor wished to crawl under his bed from embarrassment but was too exhausted. "What is wrong, Thor?" The question was quiet and concerned and he felt his eye burn the words. The feeling only got worse when two hands lightly rested on his shoulders, like they were unsure if they were wanted.
