"I'm sorry, I do not mean to be so short when you're trying to help, I just..." Thor sighed and felt a hysterical, strained laugh bubble up in his throat. He covered his face to muffle it and the sound turned to a choked off sob at the end. Thor wished to crawl under his bed from embarrassment but was too exhausted.
"What is wrong, Thor?" The question was quiet and concerned and he felt his eye burn the words. The feeling only got worse when two hands lightly rested on his shoulders, like they were unsure if they were wanted. "Talk to me, brother."
