| The boy in front of him is barely recognizable. He’s so much smaller than Katsuki remembers, dressed in dirty garments covered in stains that may be mud or may be blood. Katsuki doesn’t want to find out which. His hair is so long, and there are bandages all over him, but Katsuki can see those brilliant green eyes staring up at him, the fear naked and plainly written in his expression. He mulls over Kaveh’s words, turns them around and around in his head like that will make them less world-shattering. “…I think I love you,” he finally says, in a voice so tiny the slightest breeze could take it away. “I don’t love people. But I think I love you, and I’m scared.” ----- or: Alhaitham is in love, and he doesn't handle it well. Kaveh takes matters into his own hands. |

| He takes a step back, before sprinting forward, ignoring everything in his path as his vision tunnels dangerously. It seems like only a second before he’s got the villain’s errand boy by the collar, one explosive palm hovering an inch from the man’s head. “Bakugo! Stop!” Aizawa’s cries fall on deaf ears as Katsuki lets out a threatening pop, trying desperately to hold back whatever is happeni...>>ng inside his chest. Look, Kacchan! Isn’t it amazing! This little guy was just gone, but I healed him up no problem! I brought him back! “S–say that again,” Katsuki whispers, his face inches from the villain’s and his voice shaky. ---- Izuku has a resurrection quirk; he can bring things back from the dead. One year ago, just before he and Katsuki were set to start UA togther, he disappeared, and no one has seen him since. Katsuki, and everyone else, believed him to be dead. Until now. |
