| BB: I keep forgetting to ask, how are you finding the Orange Islands? UT: they’re great! UT: we’ve met some new friends, seen some new pokémon, and i’m on my way to the first gym! UT: we also crashed two blimps, broke dialga, and i think kyogre is stalking me. BB: UT: so it’s pretty normal! BB: Ash, that is so not normal I don’t even know where to start with you… Ash Ketchum...>> is fresh out of competing in the Indigo League, cheered on by both his human friends and the large cast of legendary Pokémon who were watching and commenting on the progress of his entire Kanto adventure. They weren’t supposed to interfere, but this being Ash, and they being bored, that lasted about three hours. Now Ash is tasked by Professor Oak to retrieve a mysterious artefact from his colleague in the Orange Islands. After everything that happened in Kanto, it’s safe to assume that this will totally go off without any problems and everything will be fine. Or: It’s never safe to assume when the legendary Pokémon chatroom is involved. Alternatively or: Having made multiple collisions and derailed, this canon train is heading straight into the sea. |

Arceus set a very simple ground rule: Nobody was to interfere. Ash was to have a normal journey without their shenanigans getting in the way. Of course, then they all found out that Ash had been freely chatting with the Kanto legendaries for nearly two months, some of them just couldn't leave well enough alone, and by the time Ash's journey was three weeks in he'd already indirectly saved the world. Things... kind of spiralled out of control from there. Or: the legendary Pokémon have a chatroom and discuss disrupting canon as much as possible. Petty revenge can be rather therapeutic, and can somehow lead to a bunch of convoluted shenanigans and legal loopholes pertaining to vigilantism. In other words, Auntie Inko is a badass, and Katsuki learns to be a better person through the Midoriya tradition of borderline yandere bullshit. (Yes, this is part of a series. Technically, The Ranger's Curse is Part 1 to the "main plot" of this AU. Bomberanian is a side story that is Bakugou's pov during Izuku's own shenanigan filled journey. | Pokémon adore Izuku, but pokéballs seem to hate the teen. And pokémon always get skittish whenever he hold one around them. He learns that trying to catch one would likely never work. He's just quirkless, worthless, partnerless Deku to the whole world. Having the Ranger's Curse is just the cherry on top, the inability to capture any pokémon, but the blessing of being able to befriend nearly al...>>l of the sentient creatures. It's just too much one day when his classmates push him too far. He decided to run away from it all into the wilderness to escape the torture and discrimination that follows him. Hopefully, he'll manage to survive his impromptu sprint into the wilds in order to have a proper journey of his own: pokémon partner or not. |

| This just like Brainy Girls, but Pokemon style. Ash is the main character in this and he will be paired up with all girls from the Pokemon universe.
