During the Battle of New York, Hydra unthaws the Winter Soldier, intending to send him off to aid the Avengers in their fight against the Chitauri aliens. However, at the mention of Captain America, the Soldier’s bombarded with memories and flashbacks that remind him of who he really is: Bucky.
Bucky recognizes that this could be his one and only chance at escape, his one and only chance at seeing Steve again, and so he makes a run for it. But can he really outrun Pierce forever?
