She whips her head up, glasses perched on the tip of her nose, “Excuse me?” He moves toward the flowers, gently touching one of the petals, “Where were you going, Olivia?” She stands, coming face to face with him, “That is none of your damn business.”
He smirks, “That’s where you're wrong. You have always been my business, and judging by how you're deflecting, I can tell you were going to meet whoever these flowers came from. Am I right?”
She approaches him, her lips only a breath away, “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
