| Leonardo returns from their training expecting their brothers to be themselves. They are not themselves, in fact they feel more like completely different people nowadays. Ft. Leo’s crippling self-esteem and separation anxiety Ft. Donnie being too tired and stressed to stay in character Ft. Raph being depressed but too dumb to realise Ft. Mikey slowly chipping away at his sanity until the constant arguments of the past few years cause him to snap. And it just so happens to be at his 2 dumbass older brothers who have been ghosting him for 2 years. |

He kisses the top of her head and she purrs, nuzzling into his touch, he manages a weak laugh. “Yeah, I’m gonna be totally selfish, actually. You’re gonna have to put up with me forever I think,” he tells her, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. “Cos I ain’t giving you up for the world.” Another quick kiss between her ears. “Maybe I could send Raph to the shelter instead, huh?” |

| Leo has been gone a long time, and now that he's finally come back, finally reunited with his lop-sided family and all the things he's missed, he's not quite sure that he's all too happy with everything that's changed. Especially his nerdy little brother who never sleeps and is always grumpy and for some reason thinks it's his sole responsibility to keep his family alive, which is complete and utter bullshit if Leo has ever heard it.
